<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>9</id><JournalTitle>PREVALENCE OF COMORBID HYPERTENSION IN DIFFERENT AGE GROUP</JournalTitle><Abstract>Hypertension is associated with health care expenses. The object of present work is to determine factors associated with comorbid hypertension. Data were gathered from various hospitals of Karachi. Informations were extracted from patientâ€™s medical records. Results showed that comorbid hypertension was found in majority of cases. In 50% cases diabetes were associated with hypertension followed by ischemic heart diseases 22%, thyroid disorder 10%, coronary artery diseases 8%, chronic renal failure 4% and stroke 2%.
