<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Articles><Article><id>20</id><JournalTitle>CUSHINGâ€™S SYNDROME: A REVIEW</JournalTitle><Abstract>Cushingâ€™s syndrome is an uncommon endocrine disorder characterized by prolonged and inappropriately elevated levels of circulating cortisol, and is associated with insufficiencies in the feedback mechanisms of the hypothalamopituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and the circadian rhythm of cortisol secretion. Cushingâ€™s syndrome can affect patients of any age, but is more prevalent in females than males.
