In present study, 20 Pseudomonas strains were screened for their plant growth promoting activity i.e. siderophore production, hydrogen cyanide (HCN), indole acetic acid (IAA) and P-solubilization. Plant growth promoting activity was carried by standard methods. Pseudomonas strains produced IAA, HCN, siderophore and P-solubilization by 65, 85, 85, 80% respectively. Pseudomonas strains such as PSB2, PSB5, PSB7, PSB8, PSB16, PSB17, and PSB20 showed all the PGPR activity. The study showed that Pseudomonas as an effective plant growth promoting bacterium
