Colon cancer is the one of the causes of cancer-related deaths in the world. In spite of the current treatment methods such as surgery and chemotherapy, the average survival rate of patients is 4.2%. In recent times herbal extracts and plant compounds have shown great promise in the cure of colon cancer. Many studies published over the past few years proved that the phytochemicals reduced the occurrence of colon cancer. This review discusses the use of herbal extracts and phytochemicals in the cure of colon cancer
