Pancreatic cancer is the main cause of cancer-related deaths in the world. In spite of the current treatment modalities such as surgery and chemotherapy, the average survival rate of patients is less than 5%. In recent times herbal extracts and plant compounds have shown great promise in the cure of pancreatic cancer. Many studies published over the past few years proved that the phytochemicals reduced occurrence of pancreatic cancer. This review discusses the use of herbal extracts and phytochemicals in the cure of pancreatic cancer.
