Chromatographic fingerprint analysis of herbal drugs represents a comprehensive qualitative approach for the purpose of species authentication, evaluation of quality and ensuring the consistency and stability of herbal drugs and their related products. In the present research article Preliminary phytochemical and GC Chromatogram of Aegle marmelos Corr is carried out. The chromatogram obtained is then taken as standard for comparing the fingerprinting profile of three marketed formulations [Bilvadi Churna, Pushyanug Churna, Gangadhar Churna]. containing Aegle marmelos Corr as one ingredient. In this research work qualitative analysis was done based on the fingerprinting profile of standard plant in comparison with its formulations. The three marketed churnas showed the presence of Alkaloids, Carbohydrates, Flavanoids, Tannins, Phytosterols, and Proteins. Bilva patra showed positive result for all the tests. The study reveals the major constituents are giving the strongest peak between 1.37 to 1.46. These closely associated peaks occupies 98.0 to 99.8 area (%). This shows that the cumulative peak so obtained is not of one single chemical constituent rather they are group of constituents which is present in Bilvadi Churna, Pushyanug Churna, Gangadhar Churna.
